Make it Monday | Let's Make Some Beaded Flip Flops

Creation Station | Arts and Craft Activities for Kids | Activities for Kids | Seasonal Activities for Kids | Half Term Activities For Kids

Let's get in the mood for summer with this simple beaded flip flop craft. Stunning on their own or mounted on a seaside background.

These beaded flip flops look beautiful and are fun to make.

You will need:

White card or paper

Paint (any colour)

Glue Stick

2 Pipe Cleaners

To make them:

1) Paint feet and print onto card or paper (an old sponge is good for getting an even print). Leave to dry.

2) Cut out the footprints and attach onto a backing paper with glue stick. Cut out leaving a border.

3) Push 3 holes on each 'foot'.  One between the big toes, and one either side of the top of the foot (see video).  An end of a thin paint brush is good for this.

4) Fold the pipe cleaner in half and twist in the middle.  Push through the top hole and thread beads onto either side.  Push the ends into the other two holes, bend over and secure with tape.

5) Display as they are or attach to a seaside painting.

You have to try this!

I can't recommend Creation Station enough! My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Sarah is so sweet, happy, kind and accommodating. So different to your run of the mill baby classes, and excellently organised x

I went along for the first time with my 11 month old son, was made to feel very welcome. It was his first time doing any kind of messy play involving paint and he loved it we even took away our handmade mobile with his little handprints on that I will treasure. We will definitely be going back.

Fun Christmas card making workshop

Christmas card making workshop was great fun. My daughter loved getting her feet painted (apparently it tickled), the results looked great and Lisa had great activities for my daughter to do whilst put the finishing touches to the cards.

Nakita hosted my son's Creation station…

Nakita hosted my son's Creation station party at the weekend. It was fab! Painting and play doh. The children loved getting messy (and I enjoyed not having to deal with the mess!!) It kept them busy for much longer than I expected and it was so lively that they got to take their creations home. Nakita was so lovely with the children and helpful advising the best options for the age group. The request for a submarine theme didnt faze her either!! Would highly recommend and hope to use again in the future.
