Foundation for Early learning

The benefits of children sharing creative play with their parent or carer are well documented and creative play can enhance their early years foundation skills. However, it can be tricky providing your baby, toddler or preschool child with hands-on arts and crafts activities at home.

As busy parents we can all struggle with ideas, time or energy and the thought of the clearing up afterwards can feel anything but fun! Also it’s often the case that by the time you’ve set something up, they’ve already finished!

We totally understand this. In fact, that’s precisely why The Creation Station was established – to give you quality, fun, creative experiences with your child in a safe, nurturing and friendly environment.

Our award-winning ‘Little Explorer’ toddler art classes for toddlers and preschool children, provide the perfect solution for all your child's creativity needs, with no stress or mess for you!

Our award-winning approach will help your child to....

New ideas and the world around them.

How things work by practical hands-on fun.

Essential skills including concentration, sharing and making friends.

What our Customers say...

"Excellent! Couldn't recommend Creation Station highly enough! Our local Creation Station is fantastic, all activities are based around a particular theme which changes every term. Very creative and fun! Our little boy started going when he was 18 months, and has definitely progressed with his motor skills and imagination, he loves going and practices the little songs and we love singing them at home!"

Highly recommend!!

I had never heard of the Creation Station so at first before my son (27 months old) started I thought this was a little pricey for an hours group but 5 months in it's the best thing we ever done!! My son has came on leaps and bounds his speech is developing brilliantly his fine motor skills is now fantastic he thoroughly enjoys exploring and experimenting with all the new materials and loves showing off his creations. But he now loves to mingle with other children and gets excited when he hears we are going to see Paula (teacher) and now what he says are his friends. I cant stress enough how much I highly HIGHLY recommend The Creation Station its worth every penny and then some!!!

My little girl loves it.

My little girl is now 16 months and has been going to Creation Station for a term and a half. The growth in confidence that I have seen in her through this is huge. She has gone from sitting on the side watching, to full on getting stuck in, messy and creating some fab 'art'. I also like the bit after clean up, where the Mums get to do some sticking and glittering! Fab experience, I would recommend it to all.

Fantastic experience

I've taken my daughters to several creation station classes and my eldest recently had a creation station birthday party when she turned 5. Both the classes and the party were brilliant. The children get to be really creative and messy and use a wide variety of different materials including air drying clay and different types of paint and the best thing for the grown ups is that there is no clearing up for you to do! My daughter absolutely loved her birthday party and has already asked if we can do the same thing next year. Mita is really well organised and brilliant with the children. Would thoroughly recommend.

I love creation station and I have been going with my little girl for around a year and half now. She loves it too and has gained so much confidence from going. She has learned so much too. Hoping to continue my creation station journey with my son

Fantasticly creative and original crafts!

I attended with my 5 year old son a Creation Station Christmas themed class held by Victoria Rundle and was amazed at the variety of crafts available to make as well as the quality of the elements used. My son thoroughly enjoyed himself and made lovely decorations and keepsakes that I will treasure forever. Victoria was so lovely and so patient with all the children and parents. It was fantastic value for money and we shall certainly return when we have the chance in the future. Victoria is an absolute gem and is a fantastic asset to the Creation Station family!

Creation station Charnwood-Fantastic classes

Brilliant class for little ones pre school. Allows for exploration of all sorts of artistic mediums. Perfect messy play whilst actually creating individual imaginative artwork It's my two year olds absolute favourite class (and she has ten different ones) I would highly recommend this class to all, the little ones seem to get so much more out of art from these classes than just by doing it at home. Well done Jude, 5***** for the teacher too.

Great crafty fun

I have taken my 14 month old and 2.5 year old to a Little Explorers session. They both really enjoy it, although my littlest is possibly still a bit young to get the most out of it (he could do the Baby Discover session but I wanted to take them both to the same one). Jenny is really good with the children and makes it great fun for them. My 2.5 year old is always really pleased to take her craft home. It's a great way of letting your little ones use paints and other crafty bits that you don't necessarily want to clear up at home! It's great that little splash suits are provided to keep their clothes clean underneath.

Creation station little explorers narberth

My daughter is 21 months and we have signed up for weekly little explorer sessions in narberth with Sarah. I originally contacted them by email and the information and response we got was clear friendly and professional which was great as it put me at ease that this was suitable for us. Went to our first class last week and my daughter absolutely loved it. It's great to have all the materials provided and you don't have to worry about the mess, just get on with enjoying art/craft with your child. And they provided my little one with overalls which is such a good idea. The art projects were really creative and well planned out. I liked the fact that they have a particular resource e.g bubble wrap to explore at the beginning of the session and my little girl particularly liked making a crocodile from bubble wrap! Thank you for a very enjoyable session - we will be back next week!

My son has just turned 2 and we tried lots of groups before we found the Creation Station. He is an active boy who doesn't appreciate the sitting around in alot of the other groups. Julia provides a structured but relaxed atmosphere which enables him the independence to do his own thing whilst learning about the weeks theme. He's so proud of his creations and is eager to show daddy this week's masterpiece when he gets in. We will definitely be renewing for coming terms.

Good variety of messy play, lots of fun had

I attended two sessions with my 17 month old and 3 year old. My 3 year old loved all of the activities and really enjoyed the sessions and was really proud to bring something away. I thought the activities were really good fun. I would definitely consider taking him on his own. My 17 month old was less interested in participating in the activities but preferred running around the hall, so I think if aimed at 15 month to 5 year olds it may be an idea to have a corner with some toys so they the younger ones don't end up running everywhere.
