Why I decided to run my own Creation Station… In 2024, I launched Creation Station to pursue my passion for art and working with children. With years of experience fostering children’s love for learning, I enjoy teaching creative skills and seeing their joy in creating new masterpieces. I am dedicated to nurturing creativity and imagination, providing fun and inspiring experiences for children in our community.
What I did before I ran my own Creation Station… I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with 15 years of experience across Early Years, Foundation Stage, KS1, and KS2. I have held positions such as Coordinator for Early Years Foundation Stage, Art and Design, and Science. In addition to my professional experience, I am a parent of two children and have engaged in various parent-toddler groups and educational activities during their early years.
What I love about running my own Creation Station… Having a Creation Station business allows for flexibility with work responsibilities while accommodating children’s school schedules and events. The art classes aim to enhance children’s emotional well-being, mental health, and self-confidence, which contributes to the job’s fulfilling and rewarding nature. This role also provides opportunities to interact with many families, meet various people, support new parents, and encourage new relationships. It is a privilege to facilitate creative clubs and host parties for babies, toddlers, and children.
