Hello from Emma

Hello, I'm Emma Winterbourne and I run the Creation Station franchise for Thame in Oxfordshire and surrouding areas. I'm a parent of two girls so I know first-hand what it's like to find fun classes and activities that spark their natural curiosity and develop their growing minds. Plus, I know the value of meeting other like-minded parents and spending good, quality time with grown ups. That's why I am delighted to be able to help you with this through a whole range of our award-winning craft classes such as our lovely newborn keepsake classes, our preschool baby and toddler classes, arty birthday party entertainment, family fun classes and lots of other events. We also have some fantastic adult craft classes to give you a bit of time away from the kids. Why I decided to run my own Creation Station. 
Shortly after having my second gorgeous girlie I realised I just couldn't face going back to my stressful and demanding career. I wanted more control over my time and to spend as much time as possible with my little ones. The childcare costs would have been so high it simply wasn't worth the sacrifice of family time. I wanted to do something different whilst still utilising the business skills I had acquired in my career. Plus I guess I have always been fighting the urge to teach (no way I can be the same as my Mum), so working with children in this way was really appealing. Since beginning my own Creation Station business I have re-discovered my inner child and unlocked my creativity. Each day is exhilarating and rewarding - I just love what I do! There are so many possibilities and opportunities with this business. The future is exciting and I can't wait to grow and reach more children than ever! 

What I did before I ran my own Creation Station. 
Retail Manger for a large nationwide company. 

What I love about running my own Creation Station. 
Getting really silly with the kids! They treat me like a child rather than a grown up and tell me all sorts of things. I love to watch them develop and see them rush to me to show off their wonderful art. 

Something you probably don’t know about me. 
I am a huge HUGE Harry Potter fan! 

Things I love doing. 
Crafting (obviously), books and singing loudly but badly. 

My favourite joke.  
Why are pirates called pirates?  Because the arrrrr! 

My favourite food.  
Cheese.

Loved this class!!

Loved this class, fantastic for my 16 month old son. Doing things I don't at home with him and socialising with other children. Emma who runs the Chinnor class is just brilliant. Highly recommend.

Great experience for small ones

Great experience for small ones in a safe environment. Better if your child has napped properly before and isnt body sensitive (due to putting on overalls) as very stimulating for younger ones.
