Welcome to The Creation Station Ormskirk & Burscough. You and your baby/toddler/child can enjoy a wide range of arts and craft classes, birthday parties and local events. The art and craft classes are available for your new-borns, baby, toddler, preschool and school aged child. All the classes run in and around Ormskirk and Burscough and the surrounding areas.

Tiny Treasures 0-6 mths:
Create treasured handmade keepsakes, develop friendships in a relaxing, social and nurturing environment. Help your baby to explore and discover their world through sensory experiences and creative crafts.
Baby Discover 6+ mths
Share special experiences and make treasured crafts with your baby or toddler through fun and creative ways. Help them to develop skills and discover their world using their senses and make memorable arts and crafts to keep and treasure.
Little Explorers 17+ mths
Help your child to learn through play and explore their world through hands on arts and crafts and take home a treasured creation each week. Inspire their imaginations and spark their curiosity as you have fun in our sociable, friendly sessions.
Family Fun 2 years to 11 years
We welcome the whole family to join in our fun monthly and holiday classes. Help your child/ children create wonderful memories, amazing craft creations and meet new friends. Sessions are tailored to meet the needs of all ages from 2-11 years. We also have Family Fun Slime so come along and join in the fun!
During term time 5 years to 11 years
After school clubs are based at your child’s school or another venue and provide experiences that inspires children’s imagination and creativity. Each week the children can make various arts and crafts that encourage children’s individuality in a fun and safe learning environment.
During the holidays 5 years to 11 years
Creative Teens 11+ years
During school holidays, there is a group for just the teenagers! They can come along to an arts and crafts class, make friends, share ideas and make amazing art work to take home in a friendly and relaxed setting.
Parties
Arty parties can be children’s birthday parties or celebration parties and more! We ensure your child has a memorable and fun day with their friends and family. We have a range of different packages to suit your requirements and can also provide invites and party bags too!
Events
We deliver art and craft activities at local events, festivals, summer & Christmas events, school galas and many more. Contact me for more information about upcoming events in your area.

Why I decided to run my own Creation Station...
I want to have flexibility and time during the week whilst at the same time continue to teach children in creative and fun ways. Making my own decisions and the work/life balance really appeals to me. I want to fit time for myself and my family as well as enjoy the work I do. The Creation station brand and values really resonated with me. I can continue to teach and inspire children ( and babies) and support families at the same time. I did not want to go into a business alone and have to think about all the things such as all the marketing tools I would need, setting up social media platforms and thinking about lesson plans from scratch (which is one reason for coming away from teaching). The business support was important for me that you get with a franchise business. I was looking for a franchise that enabled me to still work with children and Creative Station stood out above the others.
What I did before I ran my own Creation Station...
I have over 30 years working in education, firstly as a NNEB Nursery Nurse in a school nursery, then for the last 10 years as a Primary School Teacher and DT subject leader for the school, working mainly in the EYFS and year one classes. I have also worked with Sure Start Children’s Centres, delivering support and activity groups to young children and their families.
What I love about running my own Creation Station...
I can create my own workload and make time for family, myself and friends. Delivering the sessions, working with families and the children. Balancing work and life- enjoying the work I do and having the freedom to do other things for myself and my family. Creation station is great for creativity as understand that children learn through play, exploration and interest. Children are naturally creative and love using their imagination and I feel The Creative Station delivers that. The Creation Station values state that there’s no pressure or expectation to ‘make a perfect end product’ the children have the freedom to use the open ended materials and tools freely and to celebrate their individual imaginative minds.
Something you probably don’t know about me...
Things I love doing... going on holiday and visiting beautiful places, pilates, walking the dog, socialising with family and friends, visiting the coast- anywhere!
