Meet Linda – The Franchise Support Manager at The Creation Station.

linda bennett-smith Linda Bennett-Smith Franchise Support Manager

Linda has a dynamic background for her role as Support Manager. She totally understands the different aspects of nurturing a business. With experience in marketing and running her own successful franchise ‘thebestof Exeter’, she is switched on and keen to provide a high level of support to our franchise.

“I love to help people build their businesses, and I also enjoy writing and creativity, so I feel very lucky to combine these passions in my role as The Creation Station Franchise Support Manager and to be part of such a friendly, energetic team!” says Linda “I was drawn to The Creation Station as I love the ethos and values of the company and have been a big fan of all the work they do to inspire children through creativity.”

Linda was born on Long Island in New York, USA, and spent her teenage years in San Diego, California. However, she has lived in England for over 30 years, having come here as part of her English Literature degree course in a year abroad programme. Family is really important to Linda, her husband, Peter, is an English language examiner and she has two lovely grown-up children. Jeff is a Major in the British Army and is presently studying in Shrivenham and Megan is the Higher Education Officer at Lincoln College.

Linda connects and excels in all she does, with her warm and compassionate manner, which enables her to inspire all around her. A really switched on and warm lady, who brightens a room just by being in it. That’s why we are so delighted to have Linda join our inspiring team at Creative Hub.

We asked Linda to share with us some things that not many not many people know about her;

Your fave book – “’Chocolat’ by Joanne Harris”

Your fave film – “The French film, ‘The Untouchables”

Your fave food – “It’s got to be salads and Mexican food”

Your fave pastime – “Learning about Art History and Architecture, my favourite artist at the moment is Vermeer”

The creation station in Crawley ran by Corrine, is a fantastically ran messy and sensory play/ create experience. My son loves attending these regularly run sessions with something made by them to take home and great messy play. A different themed every week keeps them happy and entertained. Great value for money and a fantastic teacher what more could you want!!

We had a creation station party for my daughters 5th birthday. Jude was fabulous, From the booking process to the actual party. She kept 11 girls fully engaged from start to finish. They were all so pleased with their masterpieces, crowns and bag charms. Would highly recommend xx

I thought this would be something…

I thought this would be something different to do with my granddaughter who is 19 months old, I was a bit concerned it wouldn’t hold her attention for the 45 minutes but was pleasantly surprised to say it was only in the last 10 minutes she became a bit distracted. We will definitely be going again.
