Make it Monday | Let's Make a Weavie Fish

Creation Station | Event Entertainment | Arts and Craft Activities for Kids | Seasonal Activities for Kids | Indoor Activities For Kids | Rainy Day Activities For Kids

To make a weavie fish you will need:

- white card

- coloured strips of paper (approximately 1cm wide)

- Scissors,

- Pencil

- Glue stick

To make it:

1) Draw a simple fish outline on the white card and cut out.

2) Fold the fish in half and then cut slits along as shown in the video.

3) Press the fish flat.

4) Begin to weave the coloured strips, pushing each one gently up next to the other.

5) Once you have finished weaving, cut the top and bottom ends of the strips to make the fins.

6) Use the off cuts of the strips and glue over the fish body. Add an eye.

A Well organised class by Natalie. My 17th month old daughter loved it. Overalls where provided and all the paint was washable. A wet wipe cleaned up there hands and feet.

Lovely session

Lovely session- Charlotte enjoyed the discovery bag items and getting messy with the paint. We created a cute picture to take away with us too. Next time I’ll wear clothes that I don’t mind getting dirty as I was covered in paint by the end too and they don’t provide adult overalls!

the Creation Station

A really special class with impressive resources, media and materials. Tarryn the class leader is a kind, hard working and thoughtful lady. She gives each child individual attention and provides a diverse range of media for experimentation and differentiation.

Excellent value for money

My 3 year old daughter absolutely loved it. I was seriously impressed by the amount of resources that were used and we were able to take home afterwards! I love the new STEM aspect too. We'll definitely be booking more!
