You will need:

Paper cups
Paint
Googley eyes
Pipe cleaners
Glue
Scissors
and five minutes with a grown up!

Step-by-Step guide:
Step 1 - First you want to paint your paper cup, make sure to paint it all and get a good even amount across it.

Step 2 - Make two holes in the top of the paper cup using the scissors - be sure to ask for a grown-up for help on this bit - scissors are sharp!

Step 3 - Cut the pipe cleaners to size and feed them into the holes.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 along the sides of the cup for the leg - be sure to space the holes evenly and bend the legs to fit.

Step 4 - Googly eyes! Using a small amount of glue - stick the googly eyes to the top of the pipe cleaners you attached first - this will give your creative crab eyes!

Step 5 - Be sure once your crab is dry to give him a big smile and maybe even a nose! Then, play!
