Easy crafts at home with kids - How to make a crab - #Make it Monday

Our #MakeitMonday videos are a fun and creative craft for you to try at home with your little one, and this weeks'  is great fun, easy to do and great to play with again and again! This week we are making a pipe cleaner crab!

You will need:

Paper cups
Paint
Googley eyes
Pipe cleaners
Glue
Scissors
and five minutes with a grown up!

Step-by-Step guide:
Step 1 - First you want to paint your paper cup, make sure to paint it all and get a good even amount across it.

Step 2 - Make two holes in the top of the paper cup using the scissors - be sure to ask for a grown-up for help on this bit - scissors are sharp!

Step 3 - Cut the pipe cleaners to size and feed them into the holes.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 along the sides of the cup for the leg - be sure to space the holes evenly and bend the legs to fit.

Step 4 - Googly eyes! Using a small amount of glue - stick the googly eyes to the top of the pipe cleaners you attached first - this will give your creative crab eyes!

Step 5 - Be sure once your crab is dry to give him a big smile and maybe even a nose! Then, play!

We love Creation Station

We have been going to Creation Station since my daughter was 6 weeks old. She's now almost 3. Kirsty is just great! She is patient with new Mummies and their babies teaching printing skills and helping produce special memories. As a toddler my daughter is encouraged to be as creative as she wants with plentiful materials available. We both love Creation Station and Kirsty!
