We’re so excited!
We have finally booked our summer holiday!
It’s not until next year but it’s definitely something to look forward to during the cold winter months :)
So to celebrate I decided that we should have some sand foam fun!
What You’ll Need
- 3 cups of sand – we used some children’s play sand that we have
- 1 can of shaving foam – nothing expensive – just a value range product will suffice
- A tub or container to mix everything up in - ready to explore
Sand foam is so simple to make!
Pour the sand into the tub – Boo got the cup and a spatula and had a good stir round!
Start squirting your shaving foam into the sand, mixing as you go until you get the consistency that you want – you actually don’t need that much as you don’t want it to be too liquidy.
Boo was so funny!
He wouldn’t touch the mix with his bare hands and insisted that I fetched him a cloth.
After using the spatula for a while, he began to get a little more confident and started dipping his finger in, slowly at first and then his whole hand went in…
“Sticky sand Mummy!”
He was having so much fun scooping and dribbling, pouring and squelching…
A fab activity, definitely to be repeated again :)
Day #67 DONE! 33 to go!
