The science behind the toddler art activities

We don’t want to blind you with science but here are the basics if you’re interested in knowing a bit more about our unique methodology…  As you may have gathered, it’s based upon nurturing each child's own journey of discovery and development and draws on a wide range of influences. These include:

The Theory of Multiple Intelligences developed by Dr Howard Gardner, Steiner Waldorf, Maria Montessori, Edward de Bono's Creative Thinking and Emilio Reggio's 100 Languages of Children.

Our approach to toddler art activities captures the child's interest and gently increases their focus and attention span. It is also in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Research indicates that children benefit significantly when engaging in toddler art activities if their key person is involved and supports them through their learning experiences.
