The U.K.'s Best Interactive Business Award
Mum and entrepreneur, Sarah Cressall has won The Mumpreneur 2011 Award for the Best Interactive Business, sponsored by Hero Media. The award was presented at The Mumpreneur Conference and the event was sponsored by Yell and DHL Express aimed at celebrating parents throughout the UK who manage the difficult task of juggling business with family life.
Sarah Cressall, mother of 3 from Exmouth, Devon established The Creation Station, round her kitchen table back in 2002. Over 45,000 families have now been inspired by the interactive art and craft experiences that have been designed to inspire children’s imaginations from the age of 3 months olds to 11 year olds. With 30 franchises awarded to mums in the past 12 months, The Creation Station is the fastest growing children’s actively franchise in the U.K. with a mission to inspire children’s imaginations
“I feel really excited about receiving this award. I’m very passionate about helping families enjoy shared creative activities together” stated Cressall “In celebration of being recognised as the ‘Best Interactive Business’, I am going to create ‘Magic Mondays’ on The Creation Station Ltd facebook. I am going to produce free weekly video clips with lots of fun and inspiring activities for children and families to do. These activities will be based on art and crafts things I do with my own boys and ideas and activities from our Franchise owners and the feedback we gain from our inspiring customers”
Sarah and her team are at the The Busieness Start Up show at Earls Court on Thursday and Friday 17th & 18th September. Franchise owners will be available on the days to chat with people who want to find out more about what it’s like to run a Creation Station franchise.
