Working mums ’could pick up business tips at entrepreneurs’ event’
A conference is being held in Bromley for mums working from home who are looking to get on in business.
Hosted by 1230 The Women's Company (TWC), a network of meetings and events for businesswomen, the event will take place on Tuesday March 16th at Bromley Central Library.
Claire Young from BBC TV programme The Apprentice (2008) will be the guest speaker and will be on hand to answer questions from working mums or those looking to kick-start their career.
The event will begin at 8.45am with registration and is expected to finish at 3pm.
Women could attend workshops and network with other professionals to share business experiences and tips for setting up and running a business or franchise.
A panel of female entrepreneurs could also be answering questions. Maria Darling of Shoes Glorious Shoes is expected to join Lara Goodbody of YogaBugs and Emma Jones of Enterprise Nation, among others, to discuss ways of setting up a company.
Mums working from home could pick up some useful advice about how to juggle work life with the needs of their family.
