Creative activities for children at Newhaven Fort

A series of creative activities for children will be on offer over Easter at Newhaven Fort in Sussex.

Toddlers could take part in the Easter rabbit trail which lasts from April 1st until the 18th. Little ones will have to hunt down and count the hidden bunnies in order to win a prize.

Creative holiday sessions such as making Easter cards and decorating Easter eggs will also be offered on Saturday April 3rd.

Marketing officer Danielle Crane said Newhaven Fort was providing arts and crafts activities alongside its permanent displays, which include walls, ramparts and gun emplacements for parents wishing to show their children an historic glimpse of the fort.

Children could also get up close with creepy crawlies with the Zoolab session on April 8th. They could see snakes, tree frogs, giant snails, millipedes, tarantulas and scorpions at the Rainforest Adventurer event.
