’Make jelly a part of toddler classes’
Mums and dads searching for fun preschool learning activities for their youngsters may like to let them experiment with jelly, according to an expert resource.
Nursery World recently described how the foodstuff can provide youngsters with entertainment and learning opportunities.
Child care commentator Jean Evans explained that jelly can be cooked up to varying consistencies, which may be explored by babies and toddlers.
She recommended that parents cover surfaces before introducing their kids to the substance, so youngsters are free to make a mess.
Carers are urged to place food and blocks within mixtures so children can dig into the concoctions.
Kids can also have a go at jelly painting by dropping blobs of the substance on to large sheets of paper.
Further fun pursuits can be booked at Creation Station art parties, which are held throughout the UK and include a range of pleasurable pastimes, including painting and sculpting.
According to the Hartlepool Mail, kids visiting Seaton Carew Library in Durham recently enjoyed making scarecrows from cards and straw thanks to a new creation crafts scheme.
